112 orphan children registered with welfare organization in Chitral

CHITRAL: A fundraising seminar was held on the premises of Muhafiz Darul Atfaal, an organization working for the welfare of orphan children in Chitral.

At present, 12 children are being looked after at the hostel of the organization. These children have been admitted by the organizers in different private schools of Chitral. The seminar was presided over by Qari Abdur Rehman Qureshi, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Chitral chapter.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chitral chief Maulana Jamshed Ahmed quoted a saying of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that whoever takes the responsibility of looking after an orphan he/she would enter the paradise along with the prophet.
The patron of the Darul Atfaal, Maulana Imaduddin, on the occasion announced his decision to donate a piece of land at Denin worth Rs10 million for the construction of a hostel and a shelter for the orphan and deserving children. He said at present 112 orphan children were registered with the organization of whom 12 were living in the hostel. He said the hostel building had been taken on rent.–Gul Hamaad Farooqui
