Passengers face lots of inconvenience in Booni

BOONI, March 14: Due to the unavailability of a transport terminal in Booni, the people of the entire subdivision Mastuj are suffering a lot. It has been learned that till a few months ago the TMA had been managing the transport adda in Booni but later the service was terminated which created the public issue. The transport adda of Booni was set up on a private land that also lacked basic facilities of water and sanitation, proper waiting rooms and cleanliness. The tehsil administration and municipal committee both have neglected this important civic service. The passengers from different parts of the subdivision Mastuj faced hardship in the poorly managed adda. Local people demanded the district administration make arrangements for a permanent and government managed adda at Booni where basic facilities should also be provided. They also regretted that neither the subdivisional administration nor the municipal committee bothered to check cleanliness in the transport adda.]]>
