Meeting discusses THQ hospital's issues

DROSH, May 4: District Health Officer Chitral Dr. Israr Ahmed met with a delegation of Drosh to discuss different issue regarding the THQ hospital. The delegation included Syed Farid Jan, President ANP Chitral, Qari Jamal A. Nasir, Razitubillah, Vice-President PTI Chitral, Behram Syed, Vice-President PYO Drosh and K.A. Jamil, social activist and media representative. In-charge medical officer Dr. Fazal Rabbani was also present in the meeting. The meeting discussed different issues, including provision of a new ambulance, medicines and VHC affairs. Dr. Israr Ahmed told the meeting that for the provision of a new ambulance he has already written to the director general health and hopefully the result would be positive. He assured the meeting that the genuine needs and problems would be resolved. He said that the medical staff in Drosh hospital were performing satisfactory job. The delegation warned that if health department transferred the lady doctor from THQ hospital, the public launch a protest move.]]>
