PML-N vows not to ignore Gujjar community
CHITRAL, Nov 17: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) women wing Chitral president Bibi Jan has said the Gujjar community of Chitral has always been ignored whenever it faced calamities but her party would not keep any community marginalized. She stated this while distributing relief goods among the flood affected members of the Gujjar community in the Denin town of Chitral. The relief goods were sent to Chitral by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif a few weeks back. Ms Bibi Jan said that after becoming the head of the PML-N women wing Chitral, she had been working on the vision of the party chief Nawaz Sharif to reach out to the marginalized sections of society. The relief goods distributed among the Gujjar community included tents and blankets. It may be noted here that most of the relief items sent to Chitral from Punjab did not reach the affected people on time prompting the opposition political parties to criticize the PML-N Chitral for adopting a dog in the manger policy when the people needed them the most.]]>
