College student commits suicide

CHITRAL, Oct 15: A 16-year-old girl committed suicide in Jughoor village by jumping into the Chitral river. Her body was retrieved from the water and buried in the village. The victim was identified as Bushra Naz, daughter of Mohammad Azam. An official of the Chitral police said the girl was a student of a local college and reportedly jumped into the river after minor altercations with her parents. The official said the actual reason behind the suicide was yet to be ascertained as the police were investigating the matter.–Zahiruddin]]>
