CHITRAL, Sept 27: The district administration is organizing Jashn-e-Chitral (Chitral festival) from October 1 to 10.
According to a statement, the arrangements for the the festival were given final touches at a meeting presided over deputy commissioner Mohammad Shoaib Jadoon on Thursday. During the festival, different activities will be organized such as polo, cricket, volleyball matches, tug of war, cultural show and poetry recitation contest. Chief Minister Pervez Khattak is likely to attend the concluding ceremony of the festival on Oct 10. It is expected that the chief minister will announce a number of development projects for Chitral on the occasion.]]>
