APML activist to contest for PK-90 as independent
CHITRAL, March 31: Famous religious and political figure of Green Lasht, Reshun, Pir Syed Sardar Hussain has decided to contest election as an independent candidate from PK-90, Chitral 2. In a news statement, he said that he was a diehard worker of Muhsin-i-Chitral General (retired) Pervaiz Musharaf All Pakistan Muslim League. But for the upcoming electionm the party tickets for the two provincial assembly seats have been given to the candidates without consulting the party workers, he added. So he said he had decided to contest the election independently for the upper Chitral seat. He reiterated his commitment that he would use all his religious and political connections to get Musharaf elected from NA-32 and would give tough time to candidates contesting election for the provincial assembly seats from upper Chitral.—Waqar Ahmed]]>
