Another prince jumps into the fray for PK-89

CHITRAL, March 31: Well-known social worker Shahzada Amir Hasanatuddin alias Shahzada Gul has also submitted nomination papers for the provincial assembly seat (PK-89) of Chitral as an independent candidate. voteHe came to the assistant returning officer’s office Chitral in a procession to submit the nomination papers. Addressing a press conference on the occasion, he said he was contesting the election as an independent candidate and will join the party that will form the government in the province so that he could get fund for his constituency. He said up-gradation of local hydropower house, ending the electricity shortage problem, healthcare and education would be his top propriety. He said he had already been working on Parvez Musharraf’s development projects and launched a computer, handicraft center for women of his area.  He said if he was elected in the upcoming election he will work more for development of the area. Besides, Syed Muzafar Jan, the president of Awami National Party (ANP), also submitted his nomination paper for the National Assembly seat of Chitral. He also came to file the papers in a big procession of his supporters and party workers. So far, some 17 candidates have submitted their nomination papers for NA-32 while 30 candidates have filed papers the lower Chitral provincial assembly seat of PK-89. More than 10 candidates have submitted nomination papers for PK-90 Upper Chitral.
