Constable shot dead

GILGIT, Oct 25: Unidentified persons shot dead a police constable at Jammat Khana Bazar here on Thursday. The City police said Mohammad Hassan, the constable, was in plainclothes and heading towards the market for Eid shopping when he was attacked. He died on the spot. The police said it was a targeted killing but not linked to sectarian motivated crime. He said primary investigation had showed that it was a sort of honour killing.]]>
