Speaking to a delegation of district press club here, the governor said that we should promote harmony and peace for the sake of development and people’s well-being. He said all the people of the region were the followers of Islam and should live together in peace and harmony. He said there was a need to promote the element of tolerance so that there is peace and brotherhood irrespective of one’s sectarian affiliations. In this regard, he stressed the role of the media in creating awareness among the masses.
