WB Approves $47.9m for Punjab’s Primary Education

Lahore, Aug 25, 2025: The World Bank has approved $47.9 million to improve primary education in Punjab. The project will expand early education, bring out-of-school children back to classrooms, and strengthen teacher training. Punjab has nearly seven million children out of school. The program will benefit about five million children, 7,000 headmasters, and 165,000 teachers.
