The committee was constituted on March 21, 2018, with Prince Sultanul Mulk its patron-in-chief; Shahzada Sikendarul Mulk, chairman; Mukhtar Lal, senior vice chairman; Mohiuddin Hatim, vice chairman; Mustanser Uddin, general secretary; Zahir Uddin, joint secretary; Shuja Uddin, information secretary; Farid Ahmed, finance secretary; Muhammad Ali Shah and Ali Jabbar, members logistics. Last year, the festival was wrapped up midway due to a law and order situation in the aftermath of the Shahi Masjid incident in Chitral town. Mostly local culture and Chitral\’s indigenous games dominate the Qaqlasht festival which has become the most popular event after Shandur festival of Chitral.]]>
