GILGIT, Nov 25: A delegation from Chitral called on Gilgit-Baltistan government’s adviser on tourism, culture and information Sadia Danish at her office here, says a press release. The delegation, which was led by Amirullah Khan Yaftali, highlighted the centuries-old social and cultural relations between the people of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan. They also hailed Sadia Danish for raising voice for the rights of both the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral. The Chitrali delegation on the occasion asked the adviser to play her role in ensuring the participation of Gilgit-Baltistan in the annual Shandur festival, adding any issue between the two sides should be resolved through talks. They said that the annual Shandur festival had been a catalyst in bringing the people of the two region closer. Ms Sadia Danish assured the delegation that the GB government would participate in the Shandur festival 2015. She said steps would also be made to promote communication among the people of the two areas.]]>
