Chitral, July 14, 2026: Two young men from Lower Chitral were allegedly stabbed to death by a fellow Chitrali in Dubai on Sunday night, according to reports received here.
The victims, identified as Amir Uddin and Mumtaz Ahmed, both from Drosh, Lower Chitral, were reportedly attacked with a knife while they were asleep.
They sustained fatal injuries and died from excessive bleeding before they could receive medical assistance.
The alleged killer has been identified as Nasir, a native of Jughore, Lower Chitral.
Dubai police have arrested the suspect and launched an investigation into the incident.
The cause and circumstances that led to the unfortunate incident could not be ascertained.
Further details are expected as the investigation progresses into the case. The bodies of the victims have not been released for transportation to Chitral for burial, as police are completing all the legal formalities.
