Chitral, July 11, 2026: Two separate road accidents in Lower Chitral left several people, including children, injured on Saturday.
According to Rescue 1122, the first accident occurred in Saeedabad, where two vehicles traveling in opposite directions collided head-on. Rescue medical teams responded promptly and provided first aid to the injured before shifting them to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Lower Chitral.
In a separate incident, a vehicle traveling from Susoom to Chitral town met with an accident near Hasanabad. Rescue 1122 personnel reached the scene and provided emergency medical treatment to five injured passengers, including children, before transporting them to DHQ Hospital.
Initial reports indicate that the Saeedabad crash occurred when two vehicles traveling in opposite directions collided. The cause of the Hasanabad accident has not yet been officially confirmed.
Rescue 1122 medical teams carried out rescue operations at both locations and ensured that all injured victims received immediate medical assistance before being shifted to hospital for further treatment.
