Islamabad, May 17, 2026: The kidnapping case of a Chitrali businessman turned out to be faked by himself, according to the Islamabad police.
The case has taken a surprising turn after police claimed that Nooruddin himself staged the entire abduction drama.
According to police, the individual allegedly created fake kidnapping videos with the help of two of his accomplices and circulated them on social media to mislead authorities and build pressure on his opponents.
Investigators said the motive included avoiding repayment of debts and framing rivals in false cases.
No Clue to Missing Chitrali Businessman Since May 1
Police confirmed that the accused and his two partners were arrested from Rahim Yar Khan through intelligence-based operations and technical tracking. Further legal proceedings have been initiated against them.
The case was initially registered at the Kohsar police station in Islamabad on May 1 after the complainant’s brother reported him as abducted from Islamabad.
