Booni, July 5, 2026: Several people, including a truck driver, were injured after a sudden landslide struck them while they were loading gravel into a truck in the Muzgol area of Morkhow, Upper Chitral.
According to the district administration, teams from Rescue 1122 reached the scene and provided the injured with first aid before being shifted to Category-D Hospital in Booni.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Imran Khan, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Adnan Haider Malooki, later visited the hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured.
Considering the condition of the victims, all injured persons were later transferred by Rescue 1122 ambulances to the District Headquarters Hospital in Lower Chitral for further treatment.
