Chitral, May 16, 2026: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has appointed Shahid Hussain as District Education Officer (DEO) Lower Chitral as part of a broader reshuffle in the Elementary and Secondary Education Department.
According to an official notification, the appointment too immediate effect.
Prior to his new assignment, Shahid Hussain was serving as deputy director Planning and Development at the Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education in Peshawar.
A seasoned officer, he has previously held key positions in Chitral, including deputy district officer (DDO) and subdivisional officer (SDO), and is well acquainted with the region’s educational and administrative challenges.
