They expressed deep sympathy with the bereaved family, laid flowers on his grave and presented a guard of honor in recognition of his sacrifice.

On the occasion, the council president assured the family that institutions of the Imamat would extend full support, including taking responsibility for the education and upbringing of the martyr’s children.

The volunteer Muhammad Ali embraced martyrdom after a falling stone struck his head while he was working along with other volunteers to repair the Yarkhun road in front of Khuz village near Kargin last week.

As the roads in the area remain in pathetic conditions due to government apathy, Ismaili volunteers have been carrying out the repair work to facilitate community members who will be traveling to Parwak Lasht for the Didar of their Imam, Prince Rahim Aga Khan, later this month.
