Upper Chitral Gets New Deputy Commissioner

Peshawar, Oct 4, 2025: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced a major reshuffle in the provincial administration, transferring several key officers to new positions.

According to an official notification issued by the Establishment Department, Mr. Haseebur Rehman Khalil (PMS BS-18), Deputy Commissioner Upper Chitral, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Department.

In his place, Muhammad Imran Khan Yousafzai (PMS BS-18), who was previously serving as Chief Executive Officer of WSSC Bannu, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner Upper Chitral under Section-10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973. Mr Yousafzai earlier also served as the deputy commissioner of Lower Chitral.

His posting comes as part of a broader administrative reshuffle aimed at improving governance and service delivery in various districts of the province.

The notification, signed by Section Officer (Establishment-I) Sabir Amin, stated that all transfers and postings are being carried out in the public interest with immediate effect.

The reshuffle involves the movement of multiple officers across key administrative positions, reflecting the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure efficient management at the district level.
