PESHAWAR, July 28, 2025: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar announced the matric results 2025, recording an impressive 83.5% pass percentage.
The results were declared during a special ceremony attended by key education stakeholders and government officials.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Education, Mr. Faisal Khan Tarakai, graced the occasion as chief guest. Other attendees included Education Secretary Khalid Khan, Commissioner Peshawar Division and BISE Chairman Riaz Khan Mehsud, Controller of Examinations Inamullah Shah, and Board Secretary Mehdi Jan.

1st Position: Fatima Jugnoo – Peshawar Model School Girls Branch-2 – 1180 marks
2nd Position: Sarah Imran – Peshawar Model School Branch-2 – 1178 marks
3rd Position (Tie): Yasra, Shumaila, and Aina Shoaib – Peshawar Model School – 1176 marks each
Girls dominated the top ranks in the science group, reflecting the growing academic excellence of female students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In his speech, Minister Faisal Khan Tarakai emphasized the government’s focus on merit, transparency, and accountability in the examination system: “All exam centers were strictly monitored to ensure transparency. Students have secured top positions purely on merit,” he stated.
