KARACHI: A woman opened fire on the driver of a trailer after his vehicle hit her car in Karachi, police said on Saturday.
According to the police, the trailer hit the car near Isa Nagri and after the accident the woman got out of her car and opened fire on the driver.
The driver of the trailer jumped out and ran away and took shelter behind a police van.
Police said a case had been registered against both the woman and the trailer driver. Both have been named in the same FIR.
According to the text of the FIR, there was a traffic accident near Isa Nagari turn as both the woman and the trailer driver were driving negligently and carelessly. The trailer tried to overtake and hit the car from the side. The woman then disembarked and pulled out a pistol and fired into the air.
According to the police, the woman later presented a 9mm pistol license to the police, but it had expired on December 31, 2023. Further investigation was underway.
