CHITRAL: The road between Chitral and the down districts was on Sunday evening blocked after torrential rain triggered flash flooding in nullahs at Ashiret and other parts of the Lowari area.
According to the Lower Chitral police, the area police under the supervision of SHO Ashiret Qurban Panah was trying to help out passengers stranded in the area.
It has been learnt that hundreds of vehicles travelling to and from Chitral have been stranded in Dir and Ashiret sides of the Lowari tunnel.
