RAWALPINDI: Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, met their lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar at Adiala Jail on Monday after months of repeated requests and legal applications.
In a post on X, Salman Safdar said jail authorities facilitated a 40-minute meeting with Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi at 4:30pm.
He said the meeting with Imran Khan took place after seven months, while he had been able to meet Bushra Bibi after a gap of 11 months.
Safdar said the 40-minute meeting was insufficient for a detailed discussion of all the pending cases and legal matters. He added that both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi briefed him about their health and living conditions in jail and also issued fresh instructions regarding certain legal matters and ongoing cases.
