BOONI: A young man lost his life after a 12-bore shotgun accidentally went off in Upper Chitral’s Miragram-1 village on September 19.
According to local reports, Yasir Ali, son of Yadgar Ali, sustained critical injuries after the firearm discharged accidentally.
He was being shifted to a hospital in Booni for medical treatment but succumbed to his injuries on the way. His body was later taken to a government hospital, where police completed the necessary legal formalities before handing it over to his family.
Yasir Ali was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Miragram-1.
The deceased had completed a pharmacy course and was serving as a volunteer at a private hospital.
