Peshawar, July 26, 2026: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released a damage assessment report detailing the impact of heavy rains and flash floods across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between July 19 and July 26.
According to the report, 32 people were killed and 35 others injured after flash floods and rain-related incidents caused roofs and walls of houses to collapse in different parts of the province.
The PDMA said that 72 houses were damaged during the period. Of these, 55 sustained partial damage, while 17 were completely destroyed due to torrential rains and flash flooding.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation and assess losses in the affected areas as relief and recovery efforts proceed. Further updates are expected as damage assessments are finalized.
