Islamabad, May 13, 2026: A young businessman from Chitral, identified as Nooruddin, remains missing after disappearing from Islamabad with no confirmed trace of his whereabouts so far.
According to police sources, investigations are actively underway, with three separate teams of Islamabad Police assigned to the case.
No Clue to Missing Chitrali Businessman Since May 1
SP City Zone Dr. Ayaz Hussain has constituted a special investigation team under the supervision of the SDPO Secretariat. The team includes Station House Officers from Kohsar, Aabpara, and Secretariat police stations.
Authorities have directed the teams to submit daily progress reports as the investigation moves forward.
Police officials stated that their primary focus is the safe recovery of Nooruddin, along with identifying and apprehending those responsible for his disappearance.
They added that the case is being handled with professionalism and urgency.
Meanwhile, a video allegedly showing the missing individual has surfaced, which may provide important leads in the ongoing investigation.
In the video, an unidentified man can be seen assaulting the victim while another individual stands guard, pointing a weapon at him. The abducted man is reportedly heard appealing to his relatives to arrange a ransom of five crore rupees for his safe release.
According to reports circulating on social media, Nooruddin was allegedly involved in a financial scheme where a large number of people had deposited significant sums of money with him in return for high profits. However, authorities have not officially confirmed these claims.
