Biometric Verification Made Mandatory for MDCAT

Islamabad, April 16, 2026: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has introduced a new requirement for this year’s Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT), making biometric verification mandatory for all candidates.

According to the PMDC, students appearing in the upcoming test will be required to undergo biometric authentication as part of the examination process.
The council has also directed candidates under the age of 18 to obtain a Juvenile Card. Students without this card will not be allowed to sit for the entry test.
The move is aimed at ensuring transparency and preventing impersonation in the examination system.
