Chitral, April 15, 2026: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Malakand Syed Fida Hassan Shah visited Chitral and met police officials at the Police Lines on Wednesday.
Upon arrival, District Police Officer (DPO) Lower Chitral Rafatullah Khan along with other officers welcomed the RPO.
During the visit, the RPO laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial in the Police Lines and offered Fateha for the elevated ranks of police martyrs. He paid rich tribute to their sacrifices, stating that police martyrs are the pride of the force and their sacrifices will always be remembered.
The RPO also inspected ongoing development projects at the Police Lines and expressed satisfaction over the pace and quality of work. He directed the concerned officials to ensure timely completion of all projects.
Later, he inaugurated the newly constructed Police Mess and Barracks within the Police Lines.
The RPO also visited the Police Facilitation Center at Zargarandeh, where he reviewed various public service facilities being provided under one roof.
He appreciated the service delivery system, citizen guidance mechanism, and complaint registration process. He emphasized the need for timely, transparent, and dignified service delivery to the public.
On the occasion, he also inaugurated the newly built multipurpose hall at the Police Facilitation Center, terming it an important step towards improving public service delivery and strengthening trust between the police and the community.
