Booni, April 9, 2026: The district administration of Upper Chitral formally inaugurated a Youth Resource Center at the District Youth Office in Booni on Thursday.
The ceremony was attended by a large gathering of officials, political representatives and local youth.
District Youth Officer Usman Wali Sirang briefed the participants of the inaugural ceremony on the center’s objectives, emphasizing that it will provide youth with opportunities for skill development, career counseling, and free internet access to enhance their learning and future prospects.
In his address, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Imran Khan described the initiative as a significant milestone for Upper Chitral’s youth, adding that the center will serve as a hub for learning, skill enhancement, and career guidance.
He praised the Youth Department for its efforts and urged the district youth officer to actively engage local youth to maximize the facility’s benefits.
