Khuz, April 9, 2026: Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Upper Chitral Adnan Haider Maloki inspected Khuz bridge along with a team from the C&W department.
The team found the bridge in a dilapidated condition, prompting serious concern from the officials. The assistant commissioner instructed the local government officials concerned to ensure immediate repair work to prevent difficulties for commuters and residents.
Officials on the occasion said that the repairs must adhere to quality standards and be completed as soon as possible to restore safe and reliable access for the local community.
The administration promised that regular monitoring would be conducted to maintain the bridge and prevent further deterioration.
Telenor Tower
Earlier, the district administration team also inspected on-site facilities and signal strength of Telenor mobile phone service tower at Khotanlasht in Dizg.
The AC instructed the Telenor area manager to resolve signal issues immediately and ensure that service quality meets the required standards.
The administration warned that failure to address public complaints promptly could result in strict action against the company, including the possibility of sealing the tower.
