Chitral, April 1, 2026: Construction work on the establishment of Daanish School in Chitral funded by the federal government of the PML-N has officially commenced.
Party officials on Wednesday confirmed that all preliminary arrangements had been completed, and on-site work now started at Saedabad.
The project aims to provide modern educational facilities to students belonging to the marginalized section of society.
Local officials and community members have expressed optimism, calling it a significant step toward improving the region’s education infrastructure.
A couple of days back, the local PML-N leaders had said that work on the project will start this current week. They added that the contractor’s team had already reached the project site, while Project Director Dr. Aruna Prakash is actively overseeing the preparations.
In addition, the necessary staff of the consultant firm, AMC Engineering Services, has also arrived in Chitral, and all arrangements for the formal inauguration of the project have been finalized.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Chitral in October last year and announced a series of major development initiatives, including the Daanish School.
