Booni, March 31, 2026: Two women were killed and five others, including children, were injured when a jeep met with an accident near Junali Koch while travelling from Kosht to Booni, officials said on Tuesday.
The vehicle, carrying seven passengers, reportedly skidded off the road at the site, resulting in the immediate death of two women while the injured were shifted to Category D Hospital Booni.
Teams from Rescue 1122 reached the scene and transported the bodies and injured to the hospital, where an emergency was declared.
Hospital sources said treatment of the injured was underway, adding that one girl and one man were later referred to Chitral for further medical care.
The deceased were identified as Saleha Bibi, wife of Maqsood Ahmed, age 35, and Taj Bibi, wife of Nasir, 33.
