ANP Drosh expresses concern over KP Mines and Minerals Bill

DROSH: The Awami National Party (ANP) Tehsil Drosh held a meeting under the chairmanship of Tehsil President Qazi Israruddin, where serious concern was expressed regarding the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines and Minerals Act.

Party members criticized the bill, stating it undermines local rights over natural resources and poses risks to regional autonomy, says a press release.

They urged the provincial leadership of the party and council members to act swiftly and ensure implementation of the resolution submitted three months ago against the bill.

During the meeting, ANP members reaffirmed their resolve to amplify the party’s voice at the grassroots level. They also appreciated the dedication and leadership of newly-elected Tehsil President Qazi Israruddin.

The session began with a recitation from the Holy Quran and concluded with a collective prayer led by the president.
