CHITRAL: Lower Chitral police personnel donated blood at a camp set up at the Police Lines by Fatimid Foundation aimed at supporting thalassemia patients.
A large number of police officers and personnel donated blood, reflecting their commitment to community service and humanitarian causes.
District Police Officer (DPO) Iftikhar Shah visited the camp and commended the officials for taking part in the noble cause. He was accompanied by DSP Headquarters Tamizuddin and SDPO Circle Chitral Sajjad Hussain.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Shah said that donating blood to help save lives is both a moral and religious duty. He praised the Lower Chitral police for always stepping forward in times of need and for their active involvement in welfare initiatives.
He also paid tribute to the Fatimid Foundation for its tireless efforts in supporting thalassemia patients and pledged the continued support of Lower Chitral police in the foundation’s mission to combat the disease.
