21 killed in bomb blast at Quetta railway station
QUETTA: At least 21 people lost their lives and over 40 others were injured in a powerful bomb blast at the Quetta railway station on Saturday morning.
Police and rescue authorities said that the bomb blast occurred near the ticketing booth at the railway station before the departure of Jaffar Express for Peshawar.
Doctors at Civil Hospital confirmed that they had received 21 dead bodies and scores of injured and an emergency had been declared in the hospital.
The senior superintendent of police of the area said the bomb blast seemed to be suicide attack but an investigation had been launched to confirm it.
