DIR UPPER: At least 12 family members were buried alive when a landslide buried their house in Maidan village of Patrak in Dir Upper this night.
Rescue 1122 and police said that the victims included nine children, two women abd one man. The dead bodies have retrieved the dead bodies from the debris.
The local administration said that the incident was caused by heavy rain for many hours.
Different areas of Khyber Pakthunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan have received heavy to light rain after which roads have been blocked at many key points.
The main roads in Chitral, including Chitral-Mastuj, were also blocked after heavy rain caused flooding in dry nullahs and streams in different villages.
