Chitral, March 7, 2026: A farewell ceremony was organized by the administration of the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Chitral to honor Dr. Gulzar Ahmad, the hospital’s Chief Child Specialist, on the occasion of his retirement.
The event was attended by a large number of doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and support personnel.
Senior medical professionals, including former DHO Dr. Nazir, Medical Superintendent Dr. Fayyaz Ali Romi, Dr. Ruknuddin, Dr. Shahab and Dr. Shahnaz Jabeen, were also present.
Speakers at the ceremony praised Dr. Gulzar Ahmad for his professional expertise and compassionate care, noting that he devoted his entire career to treating children and serving humanity.
They said that his dedication and hard work have given thousands of children a new lease on life, making him not only an outstanding physician but also a symbol of empathy and kindness.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Fayyaz Ali Romi remarked that Dr. Gulzar Ahmad’s contributions will remain a shining example for DHQ Hospital. He lauded his tireless efforts and wished him health, happiness, and peace in the next chapter of his life.
The ceremony concluded with the hospital staff presenting Dr. Gulzar Ahmad with shields and gifts in recognition of his exceptional service, while all attendees offered prayers for his continued health and success.
