Football tournament arranged for seminary students

CHITRAL: A three-day football tournament arranged for students of religious seminaries started in Chitral town on Friday.

The tournament has been arranged by the district administration, district youth and district sports office Lower Chitral. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Imran inaugurated the tournament.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed the importance of sports activities and said students besides academic activities should also actively take party extracurricular activities.

A large number of people were present to witness the matches among students of madrassas from Chitral town and other areas on the first day.
