28 aspirants file nomination papers for PK-2
CHITRAL: For the provincial assembly seat of PK-2 Chitral Lower, 28 candidates, including two women, filed nomination papers with the returning officer as the deadline ended on Sunday evening.
According to the list issued by the returning officer and available with ChitralToday, the names of the candidates are as follow:
Maghfirat Shah, Jughoor Lasht, Abdul Haq, Tordeh Chomarkhon; Muhammad Sharif Khan, Beshgram Karimabad; Luke Tehmat, village Anish, Bumburate; Hina Rehman, Shoghore, Syed Farid Ahmed Jan, Drosh, Saleem Khan, Kandojal, Garam Chashma, Alam Zeb, Goldur, Chitral, Zahida Javeed, Dolomoch, Chitral, Aminur Rehman, Shahmirandeh, Singoor, Muhammad Hussain, Gobor, Garam Chashma, Khosh Muhammad, Zhitor, Garam Chashma, Shuja Riazuddin, Dolomoch, Muhammad Qasim, Gologh, Denin; Shakoor Muhammad, Shoghore, Fatehul Mulk Ali Nasir, Noghor, Chitral; Abdul Majid Khan, Ishperu Arkari, Aftabudfun, Sweer upper, Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah, Sweer upper, Iftikhar Hussain, Preyit lower.

Meanwhile, 40 candidates, including three women, filed papers for the provincial assembly seat of PK-1.
As per the schedule, scrutiny of the nomination papers will be carried out from tomorrow to the 30th of this month.
Appeals against the acceptance or rejection of nomination papers can be submitted until the 3rd of January and decisions on these appeals will be made by the 10th of January.
The list of candidates will be displayed on the 11th of January, and candidates would have the option to withdraw until the 12th of January.
The electoral symbols will be allotted on the 13th of January, and polling for the general elections will be held the 8th of February.
