MoU inked to promote girls’ participation in sports at UoC
CHITRAL: In an effort to boost girl students’ participation in sports, Chitral University and the Karishma Ali Foundation have joined hands to promote recreational activities for girls on the campus.
A memorandum of understanding was signed at a ceremony attended by the renowned footballer and head of Karishma Ali Foundation, Karishma Ali, and the Vice Chancellor of Chitral University Dr. Zahir Shah, says a press release.
The collaboration aims to create a supportive environment for female students, encouraging them to actively engage in various sports and recreational pursuits.
Karishma Ali, a prominent figure in the world of football and a strong advocate for women’s empowerment, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the importance of sports in building confidence and leadership skills among young women.
Dr. Zahir Shah also expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating that such initiatives would contribute to the overall development of female students and foster a culture of inclusivity within the university.
With the joint efforts of Chitral University and the Karishma Ali Foundation, it is hoped that more girls will be inspired to participate in sports and realize their true potential both on and off the field.
