Corpse of married woman recovered from river

CHITRAL: The dead body of a woman was recovered from the river near Junalikoch village of Upper Chitral, Rescue 1122 said on Friday.

The emergency service received a call after local spotted the corps. A team from Rescue 1122 Upper Chitral reached the spot and shifted the body to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Booni.

Later, the dead body was identified as that of the wife of Sarir, a resident of Dokandeh, Booni.

She had gone missing a day earlier, according to Rescue 1122.
