Dr Iqra passes MFD exam of Royal College of Ireland

CHITRAL: Dr Iqra Raza from Upper Chitral has passed the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFD) exam held by the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. 

She can now have a place in the faculty of the college besides getting further training in dentistry from the institution. 

The exam was held online on September 12 this year, according to the result card of the college available with ChitralToday. 

Dr Iqra did her bachelor of dentistry (BDS) from Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry Karachi with distinction and the specialization from Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a surgical specialty focusing on reconstructive surgery of the face, facial trauma surgery, the oral cavity, head and neck, mouth, and jaws, as well as facial cosmetic surgery, according to Wikipedia.
