Youth Jirga elects office-bearers

PESHAWAR: Tanvir bin Mazhar was elected the president of Youth Jirga Upper Chitral and Rizwan Uddin as the president of the Youth Jirga Lower Chitral here on Saturday.

The cabinets of the district chapters were named at a meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Youth Jirga with Pir Mukhtar here today.

The meeting was attended by representatives from Dir, Swabi, Mardan and other areas as well.

Tanvir bin Mazhar said while talking to ChitralToday that he would try his best to resolve issues being faced by Chitrali youth in different ways.

Our aim is not only working on the political awareness of youth but also creating future leaders by educating them on patriotism, voluntarism and democracy.

He thanked the central cabinet and general sectary of KP Pir Mukhtar Nabi Chitrali for reposing trust in him.
