CHITRAL: Two young men were found dead in a room in Birmoghlasht, Lower Chitral, on Sunday, police said.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Wadood, son of Taj Muhammad, aged 25 years, a resident of Chewodok, and Salman, son of Liaquat, 24, and a resident of Seen Lasht. They were found dead in the room of the watchman of a mobile phone tower in Birmoghlasht.
A picture of the bodies of the two persons circulating on social media showed them huddled together beside a stack of quilts in the room. It is learnt that the two youth had gone on a trip to the hilly area on Saturday and slept in the room.
The police shifted the dead bodies to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital to ascertain the cause of death, SHO Chitral Amirul Mulk told this correspondent.–GH Farooqui
