American hunter kills markhor in Toshi conservancy

CHITRAL: An American hunter killed a Kashmiri markhor in the Toshi conservancy of Lower Chitral on Friday.

According to the DC office, Bryan Kinsel Harlan had been issued the trophy hunting permit by the KP wildlife department on the payment of Rs25 million.

This was the third hunt for the year 2021-22. The markhor was nine years old with the horn size of 45 inches.

Last month, a Russian national also hunted a markhor with 46 inch of horns in the Gahiret markhor conservancy.
