Shakira Bibi defends her MPhil thesis

CHITRAL: Shakira Bibi, daughter of Syed Qasim Shah and wife of Azharuddin, from Morder village of Upper Chitral, will defend her MPhil thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Shuja Ahmad, chairman Department of Philosophy at Peshawar University on Friday, 26th November.

Ms Shakira will appear before the panel consisting of Prof Dr Kaiser Mehmood, head of the Department of Philosophy, Govt College of Science, Wahdat Road Lahore, Prof Dr Shuja Ahmad, Dr Samina, Sherzada and Syeda Noorin Fatima of Peshawar University.

The topic of her thesis is “Metaphor and framing used by Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan in general elections 2018 and analysis of public speeches.”

Ms Shakira is a highly talented young lady belonging to the backward Upper Chitral to have a distinguished academic career throughout her educational journey. She is currently associated with Kohat University of Science and Technology as a lecturer in philosophy.

It is worth mentioning here that her brother Anwar Ali Shah had recently completed his PhD in English literature and is a lecturer in the University of Chitral.
