New Class-IV staff at DHQ hospital stopped from working

CHITRAL: All Class-IV staff at DHQ hospital who were recently appointed illegally have been stopped from performing duties.

These Class-IV workers were inducted by the medical superintendent (MS) of the hospital without following rules, it has been alleged.

A few days ago, MPA Hidayatur Rehman reached the hospital and warned the management to cancel the inductions. 

It was alleged that 32 people had been appointed on different posts in the hospital without following merit.

The medical superintendent of the hospital on Wednesday issued an order stopping all the Class-IV staff at DHQ hospital from working.

“On the direction of the minister health through the director general health services, all the newly-appointed Class-IV staff ie ward orderly, ward aya, lab attendant, mali, chowkidar and sweeper are hereby directed to stop their duties till further decision,” the order added.
