PESHAWAR: A fact-finding committee has been constituted to look into the high marks obtained by students in the SSC and HSC exams in the KP province.
Despite the fact that educational institutes remained shut for most of the year due to the Covid pandemic, majority of students scored 90 to 100 percent marks in their annual exams.
The elementary and secondary education department on Wednesday in a notification said in the wake of the recent high scoring by students in the SSC abd HSSC board exams, the minister for education has taken note of the situation.
Keeping the concerns of the minister and the ramifications of the high scoring that may have on the education system, a six-member fact-finding/assessment committee has been formed to dig out the veracity of the marks achieved.
The committee will reassess the individual papers and submit a report, it added.
