Transfer of DEO Upper Chitral demanded
CHITRAL: Anjuman-e-Tahaffuz Haqooq Upper Chitral Chairman Pir Mukhtar has expressed concern over the delay in the release of an inquiry report about alleged irregularities in the appointment of teachers.
Talking to reporters, he said the deputy commissioner of Upper Chitral had ordered a probe into the alleged irregularities in the education department.
However, the findings could not be released even after over two months.
He also asked the authorities of the education department to transfer district education officer (male) forthwith or else they would launch a protest movement against him.
Pir Mukhtar alleged that the DEO (male) used to invite women teachers to his office and ask them about their duties.
He said the DEO (female) office existed in Upper Chitral and only she was responsible to ask women teachers about their duties.
Pir Mukhtar said he had already brought the issue to the notice of the director of education through a letter to have it resolved but in vain.
He warned of launching a protest movement if the DEO (male) was not transferred forthwith.

The sub-divisional education officer (female) Booni, Upper Chitral, should also posted out as she is also good for nothing. Some month back she had been transferred but she somehow managed to restore herself using her political connections which is a big slap on the face of ruling PTI which claims of upholding merit.
I would like to request the minister for education Shehram Khan Tarakai and Secretary Education to immediately post her out in the best interest of newly created district where the female schools needed a good administrator who can run the schools with commitment and dedication instead of nepotism and favouritism.
